No - it not even states a release.
Oracle 9i came in two release:

        9i Release 1, and 9i Release 2.

The baseline versions of these releases were: 9.0.1.0.1 (iirc) for 9i Rel1,
and 9.2.0.1.0 for 9i Rel2 - nowadays, it's 9.2.0.4.0.

A version consists of 5 digits;
the first two make up the major, the third the minor release. The fourth and fifth digit are patch levels, where the 4th digit is a patch release. Talking about Oracle 9i, release 2, patch level 4 is the same as Oracle version 9.2.0.4.0.

As many regulars here recognize a problem, they will probably also recognize a patch level - if the problem is solved in a patch.
Hence the request, over and over again, to state full versions of database and platform (e.g. RedHat ES 3.0)
