Thanks for your answers, but our managers are currently not considering the option of paying extra costs to buy this license.

Can I use OEM without accessing the objects that I am not allowed to use (AWR, etc)? I would like to use OEM just as an interface for administration of schema objects, storage, init parameters, ... I have also searched in google for this topic and found:

"There is nothing stopping anyone from accessing the views and functions. ... In reality, you may be using them without knowing it. The underlying objects, programs and views are created by default in 10g. If you access any of the following views: - The V$ACTIVE_SESSION_HISTORY dynamic performance view - All data dictionary views beginning with the prefix DBA_HIST_* along with their underlying tables.
and others, you are required to purchase the optional EM packs."

And this is exactly my concern: Can I use OEM and disable objects that I am not allowed to be using? Or should I stop using OEM??? Thanks for the help,
Ana
