Re: Oracle 7.3 for SCO UNIX

• how did you mount the cd : /etc/mount -f RCKRDG,lower /dev/cd0 /cdrom ?
• after mounting did you see a 'start.sh' in /cdrom/orainst ? if so - run it first - it'll ask for a link directory
• have you run /cdrom/orainst/rootpre.sh as root before running the installer ?
• are you running the character based installer (/cdrom/orainst/orainst) ? if so - check if TERM and ORACLE_TERM are set - if you're running in an X enviroment set it to ORACLE_TERM=lft if you are running the gui based installer (/cdrom/orainst/orainst /m) make sure your DISPLAY variable is set correctly (see other posts)
