Single Sign-on between Oracle AS Portal and BEA Weblogic App Server

Hi Oracle Experts,

i am supposed to implement a SSO between the above mentioned. What i recovered so far is the configuration as "partner" or "external" application.

In Order to configure a "partner application", i could use mod_osso in an Apache Configuration, but i don't know, what i can do with a Weblogic Configuration...

I could configure the application as external application, but then i can only have a single-directional singlesignon with the need to login to the portal and no chance to login to the application and being logged in at the portal without implementing it myself. but i don't have this influence on this portal.

Any hints and directions can be great.
