I've not read Tom's latest book, but have spent time in two of his previous books. Their first two or three chapters had a common thread that I would also expect to find in his latest. That is that he really drives home what the architectural differences are ... and the implications of those differences. It's easy to say 'yeah, different rdbms products have some differences', but Tom's books really connect the dots in ways that Oracle's docs won't. Received on Wed Aug 16 2006 - 15:16:33 CDT
