  1. Which part of:
    >For the record:
    >I do have Oracle Express installed.
    Did you not understand?
  2. Liar! I hope you at least blush when you post! You do post on IBM forums without Oracle being mentioned. You are spreading FUD in comp.databases.informix right now. Here is your first, unprovoked bash of the week:
    Jean Georges Perrin wrote:
    > I think it matters that big, huge corporation choose Informix
    > and admit it publicly.
    > Wal-Mart made a video with IBM admitting its superior quality.
An interesting phrase. Does one "admit" to being an Informix user sort like "admitting" to having a drinking problem?

I think Informix deserves better than this even if IBM is treating it like a second-class citizen.

Now if I were posting like this. I would agree with Sybrand.
That's bashing.

3. If you posted:
  Try SELECT COUNT(*) FROM dual
The answer would likely be a helpful:
"Actually DUAL on DB2 is called SYSIBM.SYSDUMMY1"
If you port from Oracle simple define a view for DUAL.

I only posted the "won't work" after you started yanking my chain, and
  I did so matter-of-factly.

I will not answer to any further comments on this thread. You are
inventing flame where there is none.

Cheers
Serge
