Ah - memory lane!
My first assignment ever: porting Oracle 4 from DOS to Xenix (the TI version, actually, as TI had their version of DOS) and Oracle 5.1.

Those were the days! You had to install the TCP/IP modules, reconfigure and recompile the kernel in order to allow networked access to Oracle.

I did a 'rm -rf' as root in order to clean up after three weeks trial and error - that was a learning moment!
