I have worked with this product before. It's not clear what it is you are actually trying to achive by copying the catalog from one server to another. I suspect there is an easier way to get what you want than by copying catalogs around. As to *HOW* to copy the catalog, I don't remember the details, but know for a fact that BMC has a document on how to relocate the catalog in their on-line support site.
