Splitting hairs.....

If you use the function P_BCHR(x) to denote the application Performance when the Buffer Cache Hit Ratio is x%, then what I said is:

  1. P_BCHR(30%) <= P_BCHR(100%)
  2. P_BCHR(30%) = P_BCHR(100%)
So the two statements aren't really equivalent, in a logical sense. "But for a fraction", they are equivalent on the end case. :)
