One advice: patch your 9.2.0.1 (9.2.0.7 is the latest, but requires
support (Metalink), 9.2.0.4 is downloadable as installable version from
technet).



Iirc, something's wrong with autobackup (one reason to patch!); try
restore controlfile frpm <backuppiece>. If you have the output from
your backup, the backuppiece can be taken from there.
