Oracle 9i RMAN backup on Solaris 9

Hello All,



  Is it possible to use Oracle's RMAN (Recovery Manager) utility to
create backups to Sun DLT 7000 tape drive or do I need to download and
install any media management software? Can the backups be taken without



any added configuration?




Operating Environment is Solaris 9 on SPARC and the database is Oracle
9i.
