Data exchange with Oracle financials

Hi,



My company may need to exchange data with an external company.
The external company is using oracle financials, any suggestion on how
to connect with their system via internet ? any exchange standard
?(ebXml?) , any standard and safe authentication method ? Any existing
product i can use ( e.g. oracle interconnect adaptor )?
