Good morning. I would appreciate any help or direction on the problem I am having (listed below).

An error is occurring on one of my servers when I use RMAN to backup or Export data. The OS is Linux AS 2.1 & the DB is Oracle 9.2.0.4. I compared the objects which seem to be causing the problem. (The problem is occurring on Server2)

Server 1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 orar3p dba 16 Aug 19 2004 libclntsh.so -> libclntsh.so.9.0
-rwxr-xr-x 1 orar3p dba 11528412 Aug 2 2004
libclntsh.so.9.0

Server 2
-rwxr-xr-x 1 orar3d dba 11528412 Aug 2 2004 libclntsh.so
-rwxr-xr-x 1 orar3d dba 11528412 Aug 2 2004
libclntsh.so.9.0

A soft-link was created to make the shared object in Server 2 look like Server1 but the error is still occurring

The error is listed below:

Fatal NI connect error 12547, connecting to:
