Hi All,

I have an Oracle 10gR1 database (no patches installed) on a Windows XP Pro SP2 machine.

I had to turn off the Oracle services (without changing the startup-type) because Oracle was taking up a lot of RAM. Later when I turn the services back on Oracle doesn't work. I have to turn the machine off and back on and then Oracle starts working. I know I am not turning them back on in the correct order.

I have the following services on my computer that are set to the startup-type of Automatic. Can someone shed some light on what order these services have to be turned back on.

OracleCSService
OracleDBConsoletest <--test is my instance name. OracleOraDb10g_home1iSQL*Plus
OracleOraDb10g_home1TNSListener
OracleServiceTEST

On another note, if the IP address of the machine on which the Oracle Database resides changes, how and where do I change the settings in Oracle itself to reflect this.

Thanks in advance.
