Who told you that OCFS2 does not support Linux? http://www.oracle.com/pls/db102/search?remark=quick_search&word=OCFS2+and+Linux&tab_id=&format=ranked

Use the Grid Control (AWR) if you are licensed ... otherwise Stats Pack.

Likely your efforts to test the interconnect will fail miserably for one of two reasons.

  1. A well designed application with minimal traffic.
  2. A poorly designed application that will saturate it.

There seems to be little in-between.
