What documentation were you attempting to refer to?



Asking someone "did they read the documentation" without giving any
kind of hint about where to find it, what documentation might be
helpful to start with in regards to the questions posed, etc, might not
exactly be the most helpful starting point.



The OP did specify they were interested in learning about joining
tables.
