You get upset because you are pointed in the right direction, you give no detail as to what you are looking for - just a vague "Define the universe in general , be specific." kind of question. And yet you want some sort of master's thesis for free. I can read documentation. You can't. If you could you might have at least asked what book would be best to look in first. That is a legitimate question, doing your homework for you isn't. I would be glad to give you a detailed well written, documented answer to your question provided you meet some basic criteria:

1. What version of Oracle? (5, 6, 7, 8,9, 10)
2. Clearer statement of the problem.
3. Payment in advance at $300/hour (US).  My initial estimate of time to
answer this question in detail with examples and reference to documentation is 1,000 hours of work. (You are pretty vague as to what the constraints are.)
4. It will make a major difference as to what version of Oracle you are asking about.(first clue that you haven't made any attempt to read documentation)
