Hi Frank,

thanks for your valuable help to me. I had tried same thing what you shown to me after this backup and restoration was complete. Doing quick search, I found that in "configuration controlfile autobackup off" which was causing a problem.

I was giving "include controlfile" in backup database but it does not include controlfile. When I configured "controlfile autobackup on" everything went smoothly. Will you pl tell me why backup of latest controlfile does not get included in my case ?
