Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Oracle 7.3.4 Export Utility
I'm working with Oracle 7.3.4 and I have to use "exp" to export the
database for data backup.
As limited by operating system, the dump file cannot be larger than 2G. However, I need to perform a full export (full=y). Therefore, the export always fails.
Is there other ways to split the dump to multiple files? (I cannot use special device for compression or splitting as mentioned in other posts)
Can it be as the following?
full export using "full=y rows=0" to export all things without data export by table and exports all data in all tables table by table
Will there be anything such as indexes, constraints, grants, and triggers missing by the above method?
Thanks very much. Received on Thu Jan 05 2006 - 01:37:48 CST
