The only connect string that should work is
sqlplus <username>/<password>@hole
The other fake examples of connection strings you provide, are just
what they are: bogus.
They don't work and they are not supposed to work.
For now I would recommend
- stop hacking
Post the EXACT commands you ran with the EXACT connection strings. Other than that, as the Net administrators manual comes with a troubleshooting chapter, please don't bother this group.
