Hi All,

This should be easy. I read somewhere that says we are not supposed to use normal unix command like cp, mv etc on ocfs mounted filesystem. Is this true? I now need to remove a datafile to test backup and recovery. How can I remove it?

Environment:
9iR2 RAC on 2 nodes running Redhat Linux AS3.0 each with 2Gb of RAM.

I have the following rpms installed.

[root_at_clipkmcp07 root]# rpm -qa | grep ocfs

ocfs-tools-1.0.10-1
ocfs-2.4.21-EL-smp-1.0.14-1
ocfs-support-1.1.5-1
