Absolutely not.
The solution is try to do one of the following: 1. If you are a DBA ... read the alert logs 2. If you are not a DBA ... open a TAR and, preferably, hire a
consulting DBA immediately
The chances of you making things worse, rather than better, given what you've written is near 100%.
