Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> RMAN jobs failed
Hello all,
I have a 10.1.0.3.0 database which I used to offline backup every night
using a RMAN job. Everything went fine until recently. The daily, well
nightly, backups happened to fail. Here's the error stack as shown in
the console :
<log>
using channel ORA_DISK_1
RMAN-00571: =========================================================== RMAN-00569: =============== ERROR MESSAGE STACK FOLLOWS =============== RMAN-00571: =========================================================== RMAN-00601: fatal error in recovery managerRMAN-03004: fatal error during execution of command RMAN-00600: internal error, arguments [6013] [LIBPARM] [228] [] []
I tried deleting that RMAN job and creating a brand new replica of it. How naive of me : I ran into the same failure.
After googling a bit, the only "solution" I found is : "Contact Oracle Support Services". Quite upsetting...
I don't have much experience in Oracle Administration. Is there a way I can find out what's really going on with RMAN ? and, in a perfect world, actually solve my problem ?
Thanks,
