Export/Import logs

I am using Oracle 10.1.0.4 on HP UNIX 11i. I did a full export and see following in export log:

. . exporting table AINVDISC 0 rows
exported
. . exporting table ALERTMSG
. . exporting table ALLOC_STRAT 0 rows
exported

Why there are no rows shown by ALERTMSG. I looked in database, ALERTMSG is a table, it has no rows. Same is true for AINVDISC and ALLOC_START. What is different about ALERTMSG.

When I do import, I do not see any line for ALERTMSG but see lines for other tables.
