Not my descision. We just brought in a contractor. We don't have any extra devlopment boxes, and she said she had one of her own. She just brought in a laptop with XP Home on it this morning. I'm sort of kicking myself for assuming that no self-respecting developer would bring in a machine with XP Home on it. We've already had a lot of problems just getting it to share files with other computers (all running Pro). Oracle is installed and running, but SQL Plus won't work unless it's done through the command prompt, and we're not sure that our Java web app will be able to connect. This whole day has been a PIA.
