database startup problem

I have a windows service to start the database OracleService<SID> and
it used to startup the database but now it the service status stays as
"Starting", it won't start and I can't stop it also. Recently I
installed mcafe anti virus and after that I think this stopped working.



Anybody give me some ideas what and where to look?
