Hello,

A long time ago I installed Oracle 9i on FreeBSD by following this very good guide: http://www.shadowcom.net/freebsd-oracle9i/ I don't remember having any such problems (but it was not the same FreeBSD & 9i versions...) You might want to read the steps in the afformentionned page.

Otherwise have you checked the OUI log files?
