NK, as no one has responded to your post I am thinking it might be becuase it is not clear exactly what you want.

What tool are you using? What resource file are you talking about? What do you mean by system properties? What is it you want to do with the system properities that you want to store?

Also the version of Oracle and the platform are very important since UNIX installations of Oracle do not have associated services like on Windows.
