Hi,
Now ps -ef shows a list simular the above with the knora1 replaced by
the name of my db.
I basically I uninstalled, re-did everything and did a reconfigure boot (# touch /reconfigure ; init 6) reinstalled oracle and voila!! Everything just worked therefore the problem was between the keyboard and the chair...
