It is a pity that you failed to find this (and tons more detail) in the
PL/SQL User's Guide and Reference instead. Which includes lots of
example code.



It seems like Reading That Fine Manual is a lost art today. But hey, if
you think you can learn how to use Oracle PL/SQL effectively without
the PL/SQL Guide.. whatever works for you.
