OEM not connecting to NEW repository - HELP!

i have used EMCA to drop my original repository "OEMREP" (after not being able to successfully rename it) - selecting to remove it in its entirety (not just repository only).

to my surprise, i found all the files, services etc associated with OEMREP still in existance. i had thought that all of these files would have been removed so i:

• removed all the physical files that i could find (dbf, spfile, pfile etc)
• removed all references to it in listner.ora, tnsnames.ora
• cleared out the win2k registry of as many references as i could find.
• created a new repository called OERW2K

when i started the gui OEM, i found i could log in standalone, but not log into the OMS.

looked at oms.nohup found that the OMS appears to be trying to connect to the old OEMREP:

what i have:

• oracle 9i patch set 5
• win2k
• the entire installation is a test only so i can trash the whole lot if i need to but would prefer not to since my gut feel is that i only have to change 1 or 2 small things to get it to work.
• refrences in listner and tnsnames to the new repository

what i need:

• what file or win registry key is the OMS using to read where it should connect?
• is there a utility i could use to repoint the repository?
• what can i do to change the OMS from pointing to OEMREP and point it to the new repository OERW2K?
• once pointing to the right repository, how i can set the sysman password if it is not already there?
