You prospects will be close to zero.
"Paper" DBA are worth about as much as the paper of the certificate.
IMO, you are wasting your money.

Yes, experience is invaluable.
Can you write & tune SQL?
Can you program in two or more languages?
Can you function as a decent OS (non-Windoze) System Administrator?
Can you troubleshoot; where your starting point is a report that "the
application is running slow"?
