Hi .Thx.
Suppose the datafile /u01/ora8/oradata/datafile01.dbf is on disk1 which is
failure, I can't replace that disk for some reason but need to recover the
database.
I should:
1. start the database in "startup mount" mode 2. rename the datafile 3. use rman to restore and recover the datafile 4. open database
Correct?
