RPC Endpoint mapper port TCP:135 and UDP:135

My application uses a Redhat Linux based Oracle RAC database server. At
this time our network security scan is showing ports TCP:135 and
UDP:135 open on our database servers. Are these ports needed for
correct operation of Oracle.



(in case following information adds any value, our application software
used OCI drivers to connect to Oracle. We do not used JDBC..)
