Based on everything I have seen and heard. I have not met anybody who
honestly think Mainframe is not dated. Why are people still investing in a
dated platform?
It's like asking why people buy classic autos, even they are so expensive
and hard to maintain. There can be a number of reasons. Maybe they are
emotionally attached to the old stuff, or maybe they have not fully realized
the benefits of newer cars.
But there is one important factor that doesn't apply to classic autos. That is the cost of migration from mainframe.

Did I say this was a fact? Maybe to me it is a fact.
