I won't get into the predictions, just straightening out a couple of facts. Janet Perna was the one who got DB2 for LUW of the ground. In 1993 she was in no position to be guilty of being late to the Unix market. There is no question that being 10 years late that market was a huge blunder, but it wasn't Janet's fault. She was too small a fish then.

DB2 for LUW has and still is seing healthy growth for being being the last to start.
