No, but it helps. It's a different state of mind.

Nothing scares me more than management that wants all solutions to be on MS Windows, or with MS tools, as "it's easier". Good Windows administration is not easy, in fact I dare state it's more difficult than any *n{iu]x platform. And having been exposed to Unix sys admin helps.

Have to fight that uphill battle, too.
