well, 'cleanly' wasn't really a proper word

shutdown immediate hangs on database dismount

as you can see tried more than once.
[TEST_at_v880 oracle]$ps -ef|egrep 'lgw|dbw'

We use Oracle 8.1.7.4 and 9.2.0.5 on Solaris 2.7 boxes remove NSPAM to email Received on Thu Mar 31 2005 - 12:36:20 CST
