migriate the oracle9204 throught copying datefile between different linux.

Hi,


  I want to migrate oracle9204 from RedFlag DC Server4.1(2.4.21-9.30AX
smp) to RedHat Advanced Server3.0(update 3 kernel 2.4.21-20 smp) by
copying datafiles(cold backup exactly) and installing database
software only on RAS3.


But I'm not sure if there will be any risk in production evirnonment.
I have tried that here and everything seems fine.
