Oracle 10g and ORA-27123 during creating new database

I get this error at the end of instalation - while dbca is creating first database (about 40% of progress). If i try to make manually new database i get the same error.
I have tried many configurations with memory, but all failed. My linux is Red Hat 9, memory is 512 MB (manual says, it should be enough), swap 1024 MB. I am a very beginner with Oracle, and i don't know what else should I do.
Please help..
