It installed!
I don't know what happened...
One moment I was getting all types of make errors, got disgusted, then quit.
Then the next moment I started up the "runInstaller" again and it said the
client was installed!
I tried netmgr and it worked. I configured a connect identifier and all.
I tried sqlplus and it worked. I connected to a database.
I didn't have to downgrade any libraries or anything. If I can figure out what I did to get it to install I'll let the group know.
