ok..few new elements...

First of all, no! Oracle8i is not certified for running under windows 2003 Server, this makes harder any tasks, because of errors (such as manually re-launching services..).
But, I could connect as internal_at_mabase in svrmgrl.. I can shutdown database and I can startup nomount it..

But when I try to startup mount it, it says: ORA-01102 : cannot mount database in EXCLUSIVE mode..

So i gonna have a look in documentation...to find out why...
