I typed it wrong in my message. I have SET my ORACLE_SID=TIGER ... the
thing which might be missing is that I have not PULLED my INITTIGER.ORA
fiile from my first server to this new server.... I would try that...



Yes... thats what I am trying to do... I am trying to CLONE a DATABASE
and have the similar directory structure and have COPIED all the files
from source....



I would try with INITUTTEST.ORA (from my source) and try on new
Server...
