Thanks, Anurag and Frank, but I'm still having issues.
1) Anurag, I see what you mean about the formatting. Still, our
wrapped code will not compile.
2) Anurag, how did you get that (10g-wrapped) sample code to compile? I tried just pasting it into sql*plus, and got an error : PLS-00801: internal error [pkg_read:corrupted wrap 1]. Now, that's different from the error I was getting when compiling from a file: PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "+" when expecting one of the following:, from into bulk
3) I doubt that there are problems with the pl/sql, as it compiles just fine (in 10g) when not wrapped.
4) I mentioned, but did not highlight, that our install of the 10g wrap utility seemed unorthodox: we installed the client using the 10g install, with everything except msn support selected. Then, the DBA sent us a wrap.exe and ORAPLC10.DLL, which we put in the bin directory. So, my best guess is that we have a corrupted version of wrap. IS there a better way to install it?
5) Frank - yeah, I tested the 8i version of the wrap extensively. But, since we were moving everything to 10g, we figured this should go, too... I took a peek at the files, they looked ugly, so I figured all was well. :-(
6) unfortunately, I can not post specific code, due to IP. But even the sample code listed above did not work. The plain-text works, and the 8i-wrapped code works, but the 10g-wrapped does not.
Any other ideas?
Thanks!
