insert into local table user select from remote db

Hi All,
When I use select * from aaa_at_db_link, it's works fine less then 10 seconds.
but when I try to user insert into local_table as select * from aaa_at_db_link, it's take long time to run, I also tried to use nologging option. I know it's not use index, is there anyother way to do this other then export/import?
