Off topic but,

My company just went thru a peoplesoft upgrade (the horror.... the horror). If you have the resources of a DBA or experienced Oracle developer, have them scour the upgrade steps/scripts. We found some pretty obvious time savers like a script that deletes all records instead of a truncate statement. The delete statement took over an hour instead of a second for the truncate statement.
