Buy the rman backup & recovery book by robert freeman and use that to
start quickly getting familiar with rman.  Study that book and read it
repeatedly, cover to cover, at least 3 or 4 times.  Chapter 5 is all
Veritas netbackup.



The product is fine will work just peachy with rman you still need to
know in detail what's going on underneath the covers.
