installer crashes

Just wanted to let others know.
We had installed Redhat ES3 update 3 on HP Proliant G3 and everything was going on fine. When we moved to G4 servers, the Oracle installer would crash. Looks like the "java" crashed. The solution is to start off the kernel with parameter noexec=off.
