Is it safe to presume you have listed all of your relevant Oracle experience in your post? If so, you can't expect that sort of salary as a junior DBA. Such is the only DBA position for which you appear to be qualified. You're not likely to make that much even as a seasoned Oracle developer, but I may be mistaken there, as I haven't worked in development for quite a while.

Is it worth it? If you're in it for the money alone, nothing is worth it. If you're in it for the job satisfaction, then yes, it's very well worth the effort.

The travel is dependent upon the employer and the distribution of the various database servers for which you could be responsible. A junior DBA wouldn't be travelling much, if at all, and only in the company of a senior DBA. So, I would expect your travel to diminish considerably if you make this career change.
