Re: no listener

Hi Dave,

Assuming you have a Metalink account, take a look at Metalink Note:16656.1("The Listener") as well as Note:16658.1 ("Tracing SQL*Net /Net 8"). I have a feeling that the host parameter in the listener configuration located in your listener.ora file is different from your actual hostname, but again, I'm just making a guess.
